The Wings of the Light Dragon
Hikari Ryuza No Hane is a dance designed and created by Great Grandmaster Ralph Castro and Grandmaster Crimi. The dance was created by combining elements from two martial arts systems - Hikari Ryuza Ryu Jujutsu and Shaolin Kenpo.
Mind Set: Faith (Shinko) - Spirit (Shin)
Standing in a posture of complete repose feet together, hands held in (Gassho No Rei), finger tips touching the sixth chakara (Ajna = The Third Eye), head held downward chin tucked lost in prayer and meditation; one is completely unaware of their surroundings. This would be a testament to ones' resolve and absolute faith! (Munen Muso).
Yet the vigilance of the Dragon is omni-present connected to God and the Universe through your soul. As danger approaches the Dragon is awaken completely unbeknownst to you. The eyes open as wide as possible yet the brows are heavy and dropped downward. The head does not lift nothing moves with the exception of the eye lids and brows. The attack occurs the Light Dragon (Hikari Ryuza) blocks, spreads its wings (Hirogeru Hane) and the dance begins as God moves the body of the Dragon.
